Joe Wilson: I'm Democrats' #1 Target

South Carolina Republican Rep. Joe Wilson, whose shout of "you lie!" during President Obama's address to a joint session of Congress prompted a rebuke in the House of Representatives, said today that he is now "the number one target of Washington Democrats," as well as MoveOn and ACORN.

Wilson said it was time to "close the book on last week" in a press conference in Lexington Friday afternoon, as WLTX reports. "Let's look ahead together with real health insurance reform."

Wilson said he did not make his outburst intentionally and said, "I truly support civility." He added: "I believe people should be courteous, be civil."

Wilson thanked his constituents for their support.
