Jimmy Fallon skewers Donald Trump's Megyn Kelly comments with spot-on impression - watch here

"Saturday Night Live" may have to bring Jimmy Fallon back next season, if Donald Trump continues to be a major player in the Republican party!

The 40-year-old talk show host devoted a portion of the "Tonight Show" on Monday to parodying the presidential hopeful after he referred to people who criticized his "blood coming out of her wherever" comments about Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly as "deviants."

Fallon's impression was pretty spot-on, as the talk show host skewered Trump's response.

"Yesterday, I called Megyn Kelly to personally not apologize," said Fallon as Trump. "When I said blood was coming out of her wherever, I obviously meant nose and ears. If you think I was talking about something else, you're a deviant."

Fallon furthered the point by explaining away even less plausible comments about his wife's "melons," "junk in the trunk" of Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina, and a "foursome" of golf with Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, and Nicki Minaj.

What set this all off, of course, is when Trump told CNN "there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever" after last Thursday's Republican debate, which Kelly moderated and Trump participated in, prompting many to call out the remarks as being sexist and in reference to Kelly's menstrual cycle.

"Only a deviant would say that what I said was what they were referring to, because nobody would make that statement," Trump fired back on CNN. "You almost have to be sick to put that together."

Kelly responded to the controversy on her show, "The Kelly File," on Tuesday, saying that, "I certainly will not apologize for doing good journalism."

"So I'll continue doing my job without fear or favor," she continued. "And Mr. Trump I expect will continue with what has been a successful campaign thus far. This is a tough business and it's time now to move forward."
