This will be Jimmy Dykes third year as an analyst for CBS Sports' NCAA Men's Basketball Championship coverage.
Dykes currently serves as a college basketball analyst for CBS, ESPN, ABC, University of Houston Cougars Network and Arkansas Razorbacks Network.
He hosted Bass Masters fishing tournament for TNN (1999).
He was a college scout for the NBA's Seattle Supersonics from 1991-92.
His coaching experience includes being the assistant basketball coach and recruiting coordinator at Oklahoma State in 1991 and for the University of Arkansas-Little Rock from 1990-91, assistant basketball coach at the University of Kentucky (1988-90), Appalachian State (1987-88), and Sacramento State (1986-87).
He played college basketball for Eddie Sutton at Arkansas from 1982-1985, where he graduated with a degree in speech education.
Dykes was born on May 3, 1964 in Tulsa Oklahoma and currently lives in Springdale, Ark.
