Jim Carrey's ex-girlfriend Cathriona White mentioned him in suicide note

New details have emerged nearly a year after Jim Carrey's ex-girlfriend Cathriona White died in a suicide in September.

Autopsy and toxicology reports have revealed that White was found with a suicide note addressed to Carrey, reports People.

Police found a note in which White wrote, "I've spent 3 days now in disbelief that you're not here. I can go on brokenhearted and try to put the pieces back. I could, I just don't have the will this time. I'm sorry you felt I wasn't there for you. I tried to give you my best part."

Carrey and White were an on-again, off-again couple. The two met in 2012 and briefly dated, then rekindled their romance last spring.

White added in her note that any funeral plans her family had would be fine with her, and asked that her possessions be sold and given to her family.

She wrote, "Please forgive me. I'm just not for this world."

In the autopsy report, it said that friends told police Carrey and White had broken up just a week before her suicide.

After White died, Carrey said in a statement, "She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled. My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her."
