Jessa (Duggar) Seewald welcomes baby boy

The day has finally come.

After months of teasing fans with belly photos and captions asking people to guess whether Jessa (Duggar) Seewald would have a girl or boy, Jessa and husband Ben Seewald have finally welcomed their first child: It's a boy.

The baby was born on Thursday night, reports People.

Michelle Duggar, Jessa's mom, wrote on Facebook: "He is 9 lbs 11 ounces and 21 1/4 inches long. Both Jessa and the baby are doing well." The baby's due date was Nov. 1.

Just Tuesday, Jessa was out with her girlfriends getting tacos. The reality star from "19 Kids and Counting" has been documenting her pregnancy on Instagram, sharing a video of her rumbling belly and plenty of photos of her baby bump.

Jessa's pregnancy will be heavily featured on her upcoming TLC "Counting On," which will follow Jessa and her sister Jill as they navigate life after "19 Kids and Counting."
