SEASIDE HEIGHTS, N.J. (CBS/AP) - She might disagree, but Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is accused of being criminally annoying.

New Jersey prosecutors slapped the pint-sized "Jersey Shore" star with an additional charge of annoying people at a hearing Wednesday. Polizzi's attorney, Raymond Raya, entered a plea of not guilty on her behalf to the charge and to two others that were filed earlier, disorderly conduct and creating a public nuisance.

On July 30, Polizzi was arrested after beach goers reported she was bothering them, Seaside Heights Police Chief Thomas Boyd said. She admitted to People magazine she "drank way too many cocktails" before her arrest. She was later released around 7 p.m on a summons.

Polizzi, 22, did not attend the hearing in Seaside Heights but is due back in court Sept. 8. If convicted of all three charges, she would likely face bout $500 in fines.

"Jersey Shore" is three weeks into its sophomore season on MTV, which features the cast in Miami. The show is currently filming its third season in Seaside Heights.
