"Jersey Shore" Season 2, Episode 5: Sammi and Ronnie Break Up
NEW YORK (CBS) Looks as though on-again, off-again couple Ronnie and Sammi are no more on Thursday night's "Jersey Shore."
An anonymous letter composed by members of the house was all it took to break up these lovebirds (for now).
[Spoiler Alert]
Last week on the "Shore," the episode ended with JWOWW and Snooki writing an anonymous letter to Sammi letting her know all the not-so-cool shenanigans Ronnie was up to with other women without Sammi's knowledge.
Zoom to this week: "I found this note," she told the camera. "This note pretty much told me that Ron gets with fat chicks, hooks up with girls, holds hands with girls, got a girl's number..."
She was not happy. She confronted everyone but Ronnie; all denied penning the note.
Ronnie wanted to see the letter so he confronted Sammi about it. She gave it to him.
"Right away, I know it's Snooki or Jennie," said Ronnie. "But then I read the letter and see the word 'wisely' and I know Snooki doesn't use that kind of vocabulary."
Right away, Ronnie confessed to dancing with other girls and getting that one girl's number but he denied (lied about) everything else the letter mentioned. "I'm definitely not a saint. If I walked into a church, I'd probably burst into flames, to be honest with you," Ronnie told the cameras. "[But] I think I can probably talk my way out of the hole I dug. I mean, how deep is a grave?"
There was a lot of back-and-forth between Sammi and Ronnie about the letter and the future of their relationship. Sammi mostly just said, "I'm done," as Ronnie kept trying to blame her for everything. Finally, Ronnie stormed into her room and asked, "Do you want this or you don't?" Sammi was silent, so he took this as a "don't," which meant that they were broken up.
