"Jersey Shore" Season 2, Episode 2: Bickering, Fighting and Heartbreak
NEW YORK (CBS) Bickering, fighting and relationship drama were the focal points of Thursday night's heated "Jersey Shore" episode.
On- and off-again couple Ronnie and Sammi had their relationship highlighted. It seems the lovebirds were as bitter and jaded as ever as they pressed on about how they're not dating. The two end up sounding like a married couple you'd see on a "Real Housewives" spinoff than singles at a raucous, pleasure-seeking beachhouse.
A three-way nightclub kiss was all it took to set these lovebirds off. Ronnie, being the dashing knight that he was, decided to climb into bed with Sammi after drinking a ton of alcohol and bragging to the other housemates that he's going to sleep with Sammi after "hooking up" with other girls. When he gets in bed with Sammi, who asks if Ronnie "did anything," he lies about it. The male housemates seemed to be more upset at the fact that he "hooked up with ugly girls" than any of his other misdeeds.
In the episode, Ronnie doesn't seem to remember everything from the night before.. But, fear not, "Jersey Shore" fans, the producers caught it all and memorialized it in a series of carefully put together replays - most especially the sloppy, three-way kiss Ronnie (and most people without a camera crew trailing them) would love to forget.
Ronnie thinks Sammi shouldn't be mad at him over the triple-smooch since they're not an item anymore. And Sammi was completely unaware of the kiss, only hinted at when male housemates told her Ronnie was "a little out of control" a night before.
Their storyline culminates when Sammi finds a number of an exes in Ronnie's phone book and she confronts him about it. When he says he talked to Caroline two weeks ago, Sammi yells "So f--- you, okay, and enjoy your life."
Another fight breaks out between Snooki and Angelina after Snooki gets annoyed that Angelina is on the house phone all the time instead of "hanging out" with the crew. The guys in the house greedily lap it up from the sidelines, choosing not to step in. "This is high school sh-," Angelina complains. "YOU are high school sh-," Snooki fires back.
Finally, Angelina gets angry at Pauly D for dancing with a girl who's engaged and the two exchange not-so-nice words all the way back to the house. Angelina confesses she still wants to marry Pauly, whom she has slept with in the past.
Pauly D just wants her to go away and be quiet, but she won't stop yammering. He tells Angelina that from now on, they're no longer friends: "You don't have me, and you don't have Situation. So who do you have? No one!"
