Judge John Cleland scheduled the Wednesday afternoon proceeding to take care of any remaining pre-trial matters.
Still unresolved is another defense effort to have the charges dismissed, and motions by four alleged victims to have their identities protected by court order. Cleland's also expected to issue a decorum order to address issues raised by the widespread public interest the case has generated.
Sandusky's lawyers and state prosecutors will begin picking jurors from a pool of State College area residents on Tuesday.
The 68-year-old former defensive coordinator faces 52 criminal counts for alleged abuse of 10 boys over 15 years, allegations he has repeatedly denied. Jury selection is scheduled to begin June 5.
