Jeanne Rysiewicz, Ind. woman, disappeared from Texas airport, but no foul play suspected, authorities say

(CBS/AP) FORT WORTH - Friends and family are looking for 26-year-old Jeanne Rysiewicz, who disappeared last month at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport before her flight to Indiana, CBS DFW reports.

Jeanne's family spent three days prior to her disappearance in North Texas celebrating her older sister's wedding.  Jeanne was with them on Sept. 16 at the airport, where they were getting ready to board a plane home to Indiana.

"We were ready to board the plane and we looked around and Jeanne was still in line. She was like two or three people behind us," said her father, Edward Rysiewicz.

But Jeanne never got on the plane.

"I got off right away and I couldn't find her anywhere," said her mother, Barb Rysiewicz. "It's very puzzling to us, it really is."

According to CBS DFW, a TSA screener found Jeanne's dead cell phone a day after her disappearance, outside the terminal where she was last seen. Investigators also discovered small tracks in a dirt area nearby that looked like the wheels of a roller bag. When they found the bag, they determined it belonged to Jeanne.

"It looked to our investigators as if Jeanne had taken the two bags that she had and combined some things into one bag and left the roller bag behind," airport spokesman David Magaña said. "There is no indication of foul play. There is no obvious signs of a crime being committed. It's very puzzling."

Magaña said there is video of Jeanne walking out of the terminal. Investigators said she was by herself.

Jeanne's family said they have no idea why she would have disappeared. They described her as a bubbly person who held two jobs and lived a single's life. They said she's never run away, and doesn't suffer from any mental problems or take any medications.

"Nobody has heard a word from her," Barb said. "We have to believe she's okay. I believe she's okay, we have to. I have a lot of faith in God."

Jeanne Rysiewicz is 5'5, 115 pounds with light brown hair, blue eyes. She was last seen wearing gray pants, brown shoes and a black zippered hoodie.
