Jay-Z to host Made in America festival for second year in Philadelphia

Jay-Z will return with his Made in America festival this year.

The second annual music event will take place at Philadelphia's Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Aug. 31 to Sept. 1. The complete lineup will be unveiled via through Spotify on Wednesday. Last year's festival featured Skrillex, D'Angelo, Dirty Projectors, Drake, Pearl Jam and others.

The first Made in America Festival will have a second life in a film directed by Ron Howard, who's behind a movie about the 2012 event. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Howard said the festival documentary will be "a reflection of the fabric of what it means to be 'Made in America' -- what the festival represents, why Jay is doing it and how he relates to each artist."

Jay-Z, meanwhile, recently signed a new a new multi-year deal with Universal Music Group, according to Reuters.
