Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency
Janice is back with an all male episode this week. I felt this episode was my least favorite of hers so far and, to be honest, dare I say I was a little bored so bare with me!
Let's be honest, the girls bring more drama so there was a lack of it on the show.
Aussie Bum has come to Janice looking for some hot men for their huge ad campaign, and they are going to pay $10,000 — the big bucks! The problem is that Janice's agency has a lot of high fashion models and not the super hunks they are looking for, so she needs to hold another open call to find some more beefcakes.
She holds the open call at the famous Abbey nightclub in L.A. and brings in professional blogger and owner of my favorite gossip site Perez Hilton as a guest judge.
The agency's co-owner, Peter Hamm, is living in his worst nightmare. He is stuck in a gay club with tons of strange men having to take off their shirts and pants all day. It was really fun to watch him squirm during the casting. Janice, being the diva she is, has a waxing center set up for the guys to take it all off, and one guy is so excited about his new wax job that he does a naked back flip — hurrah for Janice (and for her show NOT being in high def).
Meanwhile, Vision magazine rings Janice to cast for some black models for their magazine. Janice is one agency with great diverse models so Visions is psyched when they see the lineup of males and females. They end up picking Nyabel, Lakiska and super cocky Marcus.
Lakiska seems to be having trouble at the photo shoot and really frustrating the client and Janice. She just looks dead in the eyes and no amount of Photoshop can hide that.
Dragonfly clothing makes a stop at the agency to cast for their new fall catalogue. Janice seems to fall in the love with the client and is flirting with him hardcore. I think she has a real crush on him!
They pick Ligia, Traci, John and Robert to shoot their campaign. And John and Traci rock the house and bring it home.
Marcus always brings the drama to the show and that's why I love him.
He has been trouble (and great TV) since the beginning. He acts likes he's a supermodel and can do whatever he wants whenever he wants — and today was the last straw. He wants to be a rapper. I guess he is channeling Tyrese and seems to think he can show up late for a casting because he was recording music.
And if that wasn't bad enough, he shows up for a casting not feeling well and has to leave to throw up. When he returns, Janice tells him to go home because he is sick and not right for the job anyway.
Being the diva he THINKS he is, he leaves the casting then comes back and sneaks in when Janice isn't looking and tries to schmooze the client! The nerve of this guy! He thinks he can just ignore what Janice says and embarrass her in front of a new client. You know Janice isn't having it and there is a rumble in this jungle. It looks like he may be fired from the agency but of course it's to be continued till next week.
