Jamie Lynn wrote a song about Britney

Jamie Lynn Spears always planned to follow in her big sister's footsteps, using a Disney show to springboard into a singing career. But Jamie Lynn skipped the singing step and jumped right into having babies, temporarily derailing her plans for stardom.

But now that daughter Maddie is almost 3, Jamie Lynn is giving music another try and performed a set last night at 3rd & Lindsley in Downtown Nashville. The first big step on her path to country music stardom. Several songs from her "concert" have hit YouTube and I was particularly impressed with "I Look Up to You" -- a song that Jamie Lynn wrote about her sister, Britney.
