What is a soccer team to do when they are languishing near the bottom of their division?

Hire a former "Playmate of the Year" to run the club.

That's exactly what Warta Poznan, one of Poland's oldest soccer teams, did - naming former Playboy cover star Izabela Lukomska-Pyzalska club chair.

According to AFP, Lukomska-Pyzalska, 33, currently runs a construction firm in the western Polish city. She said her no-nonsense approach has made her a success in that industry and has vowed to run a tight ship in the soccer world.

"I don't have a light touch in the construction sector. I'll be looking for the same things in football: order and discipline," she said.

Don't count on Lukomska-Pyzalska being intimidated by the mashismo of Poland's soccer culture.

"This isn't a problem for me. It's my meat and drink," she said.

Indeed, according to AFP, in addition to posing for adult magazines, Lukomska-Pyzalska also appeared in a Polish soap opera called "What Are Men Afraid Of?"
