ISP: Phantom Pooper
God bless local news. It is truly a gift that keeps on giving.
CBS affiliate KIDK in Idaho hit the motherload with a story about a Phantom Pooper terrorizing a community. This man has been relieving himself in public places and creating quite a nuisance for business and home owners.
As the local reporter Mary Sturgill states, "If you've gotta go, you gotta go. You know?"
I include some of my favorite parts of the story in today's show, but go to KIDK's website for the rest.
I also really liked Tracy Smith's segment on the Early Show today. She went out and quizzed people in the street about the 2008 contenders. You'd be amazed at how many people couldn't even identify Sen. John McCain, a man who has run for President twice and been a U.S. Senator since 1987.
Finally, Norway's version of "The Daily Show," or "Ali G" came to New York, and paid a visit to a GOP Councilman named James Oddo, from Staten Island. In what ended up being a mock interview, a Norwegian reporter asked a couple of insulting question before Oddo opened up a can of bridge and tunnel whoopass.
I can't link to the real thing because the language is really rough, but go find it on YouTube if you're interested!
And coming up on Friday—a fantasy football 101 for everybody wanting to learn more about a really popular game.
