NEW YORK (CBS) Is Cloris Leachman "sick of Betty White"?

According to EW.com, that's what the octogenarian actress jokingly told press critics Tuesday in Los Angeles while promoting her new TV show "Raising Hope."

"I'm so sick of Betty White," Leachman snapped, "Never liked her."

After the giggles and gasps subsided , Leachman, 84, said she was just kidding. "We're co-starring in a new movie, called 'You Again,'" she noted.

Leachman, who worked with White on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," was a fan favorite during her season on "Dancing with the Stars."

White, 88, had a key part in last year's Sandra Bullock-Ryan Reynolds movie "The Proposal" and starred in a successful Super Bowl commercial last winter. As a result of a Facebook campaign, she hosted "Saturday night Live" in May. Her new TV series "Hot in Cleveland" recently premiered.
