This story was written by Amanda Natividad.
-- Revenue Science: Jeff Hirsh has taken on the position of CEO in addition to his current role as president, replacing Bill Gossman, who will remain on the board. Hirsch was promoted to president last month and joined Revenue Science in Sept 2006 as chief revenue officer. Previously, he was VP of business development at ValueClick (NSDQ: VCLK) and chief revenue officer of Fastclick. Release.
-- Tribune Co.: Ten-year sales exec Kim Johnson has been named as SVP of local sales. She was a founding sales leader of Clear Channel (NYSE: CCU) Radio's internet initiative in the mid-1990s and had lead interactive sales for Entercom Communications and Citadel Broadcasting. Additionally, Johnson ran sales for CityReach Latino, an out-of-home company serving the top eleven US Hispanic markets. Release.
-- Generate: The studio announced a new hire and an executive promotion: Peggy Mansfield has signed on as the company's new SVP-integrated sales, where in this capacity she will work closely with just-promoted Matt Winslow, SVP-branded entertainment. Mansfield was most recently associate publisher at Entertainment Weekly and was previously publisher of In Touch Weekly. Winslow, who had joined Generate last July as VP-marketing is a marketing and ad vet who has worked with Fortune 500 brands. Prior to joining the company he served as VP-business development for Ignited Minds. Release.
-- Metacafe: Allyson Campa is stepping down from her role as VP-marketing at the end of June but will continue as a consultant, reports MediaPost. The company will not seek to re-fill the position. Campa's departure follows that of Ido Safruti, who was part of the exec team and GM of its Tel Aviv office. Safruti, whose responsibilities have since been taken on by VP-research and development Yaron Finkle, left due to Metacafe's reorg that resulted in cutting under 10 percent of its Tel Aviv staff.
-- Glam Media: As part of its planned UK expansion, Glam Media is adding Nancy Cruickshank, VideoJug, to its board. Previously MD of Handbag.com, Cruickshank was upped to Heart Digital MD when its NatMags division bought the site in 2006, so her experience in publishing for the female market will prove useful to Glam as it joins an crowded sector here in the UK.
