Inception effect? A timelapse video within a timelapse video

(CBS) - We're definitely getting into some "Inception" territory in trying to describe the above work: a timelapse video of a filmmaker working on a timelapse video.  Or a video about a video within a video... with timelapse!

The fascinating Vimeo video is entitled "Tchaikovsky Timelapse" and was done by user joe clarke who writes:

Whilst working on the film I shot this series of time-lapses with the help of students. Instead of just leaving the camera to click away at set intervals, we manually took a frame in synch with the frames Barry [J C Purves] was taking as he animated, showing the puppet moving at his intended 25fps, almost!
