(CBS/What's Trending) - America's favorite Golden Girl Betty White is back in the limelight with the launch of her book "If You Ask Me (And of Course Your Won't)."

White explores her time in the spotlight and her personal stories with a collection of essays in the new release. In her 89 years of living and seven decades in show business, the actress has accumulated her fair share of insights on life and the entertainment industry -- and always with a smile on her face.

In honor of the icon's career trajectory into Internet famedom, here's a roundup of the top Betty White memes.
Shortly after White starred in a Superbowl Snickers commercial that went viral, an outpouring of support to get her an SNL hosting gig began spreading across Facebook. In the gracious and warm spirit that's made her a household name, White thanks Facebook for make the viral dream a reality. During her opening monologue, she admits that she didn't know what Facebook was. "...now that I do know what is is, I have to say, it sounds like a huge waste of time," said White. "I would never say the people on it are losers, but that's only because I'm polite."
White's appearance gave SNL a major ratings boost.

In April of last year, the star unveiled the Betty White 'Naked' Hot Dog at the opening of Pink's Hot Dogs in Universal City. White always has a knack of having no shame doing what everyone else is thinking.

Part of the actress' charm is her foul-mouthed ability to act like the innocent grandmother in one moment and the terrorizing witch who always gets her way in another. One of her most famous viral videos was her swear-laden Funny or Die video for "The Proposal."

She also proved she knew what was hip with kids these days and played Jimmy Fallon in a memorable game of beer pong on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon." Despite her age, her aim and her reflexes were only slightly less honed than the younger Fallon. The first game had White trying to drink out of the pitcher and accusing the host of cheating because he drank the beer out of her cups. Here's the rematch:
