Ice cream truck robbed by masked man, say Mass. cops
(CBS/AP) FALL RIVER, Mass. - It sounds like someone doesn't respect childhood memories.
Police in Massachusetts are searching for a masked man who robbed an ice cream truck Sunday night.
Police told the Herald News that the driver was stopped at an intersection in Fall River around 9 p.m. when a man entered the truck and demanded money. The victim said the suspect held something to his side that felt like a knife, before taking the money from the cash drawer and fleeing.
The robber didn't get away with any of the good stuff - the ice cream.
The suspect is described as a 5-foot-10 white man with a thin build, who wore a black, zip-up hooded sweatshirt and a black cloth covering the lower part of his face.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the Police Department at 508-676-8511 or the anonymous tip line at 508-672-TIPS.
