Human Race Vs. Chicken In Vegas
Eager to match wits with a chicken for cash? Starting today in Las Vegas, you can do just that by taking the "Chicken Challenge."
The game is scheduled to kick off at the Tropicana hotel-casino. It features a live chicken named "Ginger" who competes with gamblers at tic-tac-toe.
Ginger's first opponent will be Phyillis Diller. The chicken is scheduled to arrive at the Tropicana courtyard in a helicopter and then will be carried through the casino on a chariot. The processional will include showgirls and live music.
Then it's down to work in a face-off between Ginger and Diller to determine the bigger diva.
Gamblers who join the casino's slot club can play one game of tic-tac-toe per day against Ginger.
Officials said they are expanding the game because of its popularity during its nine-month run at the Tropicana in Atlantic City.
Anyone who beats the chicken wins $10,000. But only five winners so far have claimed the prize.
