How to Restore an Old Version of a File

This happens to everyone at one time or another: You accidentally overwrite a new version of a document with an old version, or cut something important out of a document and then save it. Depending on what you lost, it can be a minor annoyance or major catastrophe. But if you're a Windows Vista user, it may turn into nothing more than a temporary delay. The boys in Redmond have put together a short video showing how to recover a previous version of a file using Vista's system restore points. All you really do is open the folder containing the file in question, right-click the file, then choose Restore Previous Versions and follow the directions. To see this process in action, check out the video!
