How to Pack in One Carry-On Bag

onebag.jpgBy traveling with checked luggage, you're often adding up to an hour to your commute time. Plus, your bags could get lost or broken into, and you're less mobile when you're lugging lots of stuff around. So, if at all possible, you should be packing all of your gear into one carry-on item. But how do you do that when you're on an extended trip or are going to several different types of events?

Before you start packing, check out OneBag.com. The guru over there, Doug Dyment, has several interesting ideas about business travel, like why you should forgo wheeled luggage (too heavy and rigid) and why you should bundle wrap your clothes (instead of individually folding them) to avoid creases. If you really get into it, you can also buy the business travel bag (pictured above) that Dyment helped to design.
