There are a surprising number of ex-military people involved in sales and sales training. One of the most interesting that I've met in recent years is Waldo Waldman of Your Wingman, who brings some of the techniques used in military missions to the sales environment.
I've interviewed "Waldo Wingman" (as he's sometimes called) and found him to be one of the most energized and positive individuals in the business.
