How to Install Multiple Apps with Ease

Ninite automates the process of downloading and installing software.
Earlier this week we told you about Volery, the way-cool service that creates a batch installer for the software of your choice -- great for folks migrating to Windows 7 PCs. We even gave you a code so you could use the service free for a month.

Well, things have changed, and all for the better: Volery is now Ninite, and the creators have decided to make it free for personal use.

To recap, you choose the software you want from Ninite's list of over 70 apps, then sit back while it downloads and installs everything. As an added perk, Ninite steers you clear of any browser toolbars or junkware that might accompany these programs.

This is truly an awesome tool, one already in contention for a Best of 2009 award -- even more so now that it's a confirmed freebie. I'll be using it shortly when I make my move to Windows 7.
