House Republican Fights Back Against Catholic Group

Rep. Thaddeus G. McCotter (R-Mich.) has fired back at a Catholics United for their ad that questioned his pro-life cred because he voted against the State Children's Health Insurance Program bill.

McCotter's piece in yesterday's National Review Online calls the ad a sin and suggests that Catholics United is a false prophet. He also quotes a lot from His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI.

Catholics United responded in an op-ed today with their own pope quotes.
