Horsemanning and planking are out, "batmanning" is in

(CBS) - It seems the fairly recent crazes of "horsemanning" and "planking" are beginning to run out of steam. But what craze could take their place and protect youths from their own boredom? What hero might stand up against the ennui that threatens to ruin an otherwise fun-filled day, I ask you? Only one random new internet trend can save us, one we need and one we want: batmanning!

As a professional Internet citizen, I've got to say some of these fads just leave me speechless. Inventive? Sure. Bizarre? You betcha'.

I take solace in the fact that almost every one of these new trends has some form of exercise involved, so there's at least a silver-lining to them. And I honestly can't wait to see what the follow-up to "batmanning" will be, though am sure someone out there is bored and thinking it up right now even as you read this.
