Holly Bobo's family pleads for continued searches
(CBS/WREG/AP) PARSONS, Tenn. - The family of Holly Bobo has issued a plea for volunteers to continue searching for the missing 20-year-old nursing student.
The plea came in a statement sent to the media on Tuesday. Bobo has been missing for nearly three weeks.
While police initially believed an abductor dragged Bobo away as she left home for school April 13, investigators now suspect it was a community member in camouflage who led Bobo into the woods near her home.
Police have said they have begun the process of identifying persons of interest in the case. A spokeswoman for the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said police are still searching for Bobo, but the search has been scaled back.
Bobo is 5-feet-3-inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. She was last seen around 7:30 a.m. wearing a pink shirt and light blue jeans. Officials ask that anyone with information contact the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
