Hermione's Bulgarian Bon Bon

Nov. 18 is the day that Harry Potter fans have been waiting for. The fourth film "Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire" finally makes its way into theaters.

Nerves and hormones are racing at Hogwarts as everyone prepares for the Yule Ball but, once again, Harry and Ron seem to take Hermoine for granted.

"Much to her surprise, Hermione gets herself a boyfriend in Viktor Krum," Emma Watson, who plays Hermoine, says in the film's production notes. "This proves to be a huge shock for Harry and Ron — particularly Ron, who has only just realized that Hermione is a girl!"

To be with the "Bulgarian bon bon. In the film, that's a quote," and to say the line "I won't go alone because, believe it or not, someone's asked me. And I said yes!" was terrific, Watson tells The Early Show co-anchor Harry Smith.

The ball was a magical moment for Watson's character, as she appears dressed in a beautiful gown.

"It was amazing, actually," she says. "I, to some extent, always played down the way I looked in the films. Suddenly, they really wanted this kind of Julia Roberts 'Pretty Woman-esque' moment. It was beautiful and for this scene you had to learn to waltz, which was fantastic. All the cast was involved. It was great."

There were also sad moments. "It was the first time I had to properly cry on the scene," she says. "I did have to try and think about something that was really upsetting."

But crying is not really what she finds difficult to do as an actress.

"It's funny, I find it easier to cry. But to laugh realistically, when they say laugh on cue, it's really hard not to make it sound kind of fake," she says.

She has learned the tricks of the trade playing Hermione Granger. "I started auditioning when I was 9," she says. "I don't go to magical school but, apart from that, I think there's a lot I can relate to what Hermione is going through, definitely."

And to those who wonder if portraying the same part is getting old, she says: "What keeps me really interested is the fact that we've had a new director every single time around, and I always learn something new. They always bring something to it. They always have their own set provision. J.K. Rowling just writes such interesting and amazing stories."

Watson continues to balance filming with her studies and is a keen hockey, netball, tennis and rounders player, as well as a budding athlete. She is also an art scholar and boasts the most colorful and creative dressing room at the studio.

She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, singing and dancing — street jazz, hip hop, salsa and the introduction of ballroom dancing for her role in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire."

To The Early Show she wore very worn-out shoes. "They are Converse. My dad got them for me for my birthday present a year ago, and I have wore them non-stop. They're really dirty. They're cool."
