Heather Locklear To Star In TV Movie

With a high-profile break up from husband Richie Sambora (who went on to date her ex-BFF Denise Richards), Heather Locklear's life this year resembles a sudsy Lifetime Original Movie. Now Locklear is going to star in an upcoming film, based on a novel by best-selling mystery author Nora Roberts, scheduled to air on the cable network early next year.

In "Angel Falls," Locklear plays Reece Gilmore, a woman who is haunted by memories of a massacre she witnessed at the Boston restaurant where she once worked. She hits the road, looking for a new place to settle down and start over.

When her car breaks down in a small Wyoming town, she takes a job in, of all places, the local diner. Johnathon Schech ("That Thing You Do") plays a mysterious and handsome local man she befriends. As the plot unfolds, Gilmore begins to realize things are not as peaceful in the small town as they may appear.

The film is set to air in February 2007. Lifetime is also premiering three other films based on books by Nora Roberts, including "Carolina Moon" starring Jacqueline Bisset, "Montana Sky" starring John Corbett, and "Blue Smoke."
