Happy belated birthday to Nikola Tesla! The history behind the titan of science

(CBS) - We here at The Feed feel truly terrible because we forgot to wish one of our idols a very happy birthday yesterday. Happy belated birthday to you, Nikola Tesla!

If you're unfamiliar with this titan of science (or are familiar but would like to learn more), check out this phenomenal animated video giving some of history behind Tesla.

I was definitely unfamiliar with some of those early projects, which seemed like disasters from their very inception in my opinion (jumping off a roof with an umbrella to fly and rubbing two cats together to create electricity being the most notable to me).  But it seems Tesla did end up learning from his early mistakes and truly revolutionized just about everything we rely on today.
