Greenhouse bandit makes clean getaway, plants and all, say Pa. police

(CBS/AP) MAMMOTH, Pa. - A gunman demanded money and stole some plants from a western Pennsylvania greenhouse before getting away on foot Tuesday, according to state police.

Troopers from the Greensburg barracks say the man robbed the Amenity Farm and Greenhouse in Mount Pleasant Township about 6 p.m. Tuesday about 6 p.m.

Police say the robber with the green thumb hadn't been identified or arrested as of Wednesday.

The Greensburg greenhouse is located about 35 miles east of Pittsburgh.
