Grammy Charity Online Auction

The 48th Grammy Charity Online Auction, presented by Dr Pepper, is available at www.ebay.com/grammy through Feb. 16, 2006. This public sale offers music and entertainment memorabilia from legendary artists, as well as outstanding VIP experiences.

All proceeds raised through this special auction will benefit the Grammy Foundation. Now in its sixth year, the Grammy Charity Online Auction is held during Grammy Week — a celebration that culminates with the 48th Annual GRAMMY Awards on Feb. 8, 2006. The telecast will be broadcast live on the CBS Television Network at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

This year's event features 100 lots including:

  • Music memorabilia from Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge, Anthony Kiedis, B.B. King, LL Cool J, Paul McCartney, Tom Petty, and Dwight Yoakam and more.
  • Celebrity-signed memorabilia from the 48th Annual Grammy Awards
  • A Baldwin grand piano signed by celebrity participants in the 2nd Annual GRAMMY Jam, including: George Benson, Jamie Foxx, Herbie Hancock, Randy Jackson, and Olivia Newton-John
  • Luxury, catered 24-person suites at the Staples Center for major sporting events including Lakers, Kings, and Clippers games
  • A "Meet Dr. Phil" VIP Experience
  • A Fox X-Men 3 VIP Experience, including a private tour of the Fox studio lot and the chance to go behind-the-scenes and attend a scoring session for the summer blockbuster
  • Rowe Furniture "Musical Chairs" with slipcovers autographed and decorated by Gino Quilico, Gavin Rossdale, Suzanne Vega and celebrity participants in the 48th Annual Grammy Awards
  • The personal, autographed piano that belonged to Grammy Award-winning composer Burt Bacharach for several decades
