Governor of Nevada Is Cleared in an Inquiry on Gifts, His Lawyer Says

Gov. Jim Gibbons of Nevada has been cleared by the Justice Department of any wrongdoing in connection with an inquiry into whether he helped a friend win military contracts in exchange for gifts, Mr. Gibbonsʼs lawyer said.
