Some consolidation in the lower ranks of the online golf world Stracka.com, which bills itself as "golf's premier social network" has acquired GolfQ.com, a golf promotions site. The two sites will remain separate: Stracka will focus on stuff like handicap recording and other tools, while GolfQ will remain focused on markeitng and promotiosn. Stracka is owned by Houston-based Stracka Design, which developers golf-related technology. Deal terms were not disclosed. Release.
