(CBS) - ABC has invited R&B singer Chris Brown to come back on "Good Morning America" after he allegedly trashed his dressing room following an interview on the morning show.

Brown broke a window with a chair Tuesday, causing some shards of glass to fall to the street below, after co-host Robin Roberts asked him in a live interview about his attack on Rihanna, according to ABC News.

"We wish him the absolute best and... we've extended the invitation to him and I sure hope that he takes us up on it, because we'd love to have another chat with him," Roberts said Wednesday on GMA.

According to TMZ, ABC previously decided not to file charges against Brown.

Brown is currently on probation after pleading guilty to assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

When Roberts asked in the live interview about the loosening of a restraining order Rihanna has against Brown, he responded uncomfortably saying, "It is not really a big deal to me now, as far as that situation I am past that in my life and today is the album day so that is what I am focused on."

When the interview was done Brown allegedly stormed into his dressing room yelling so loudly that the people in hair and makeup called security.
