Get Paid to Read Email Ads

If you're on the Internet, you're already getting plenty of email you don't want. Now a company called moneyformail.com is offering to pay you to read targeted email advertising. Company president Gerri Detweiler...

"Well right now they'll probably get about a dozen messages a month and our goal is to move that up to about probably 25 to 50 messages a month. So we're talking about 10 to 25 dollars a month that consumers would earn. We pay consumers once their account reaches ten dollars. So you'll read email ads, you'll earn 20 cents to 2.50 per ad and then once the account reaches ten dollars, we send you a check."
Detweiler, who has a consumer advocacy background, says subscriber privacy will be protected....

"When you come to the moneyformail.com site to join us you fill out a profile about yourself which will include demographic information about you as well as information about your interests. Now we don't share that with anyone."
The advertisers never get your name or your direct email address, unless of course you wind up buying from them. You could use it as a way to offset the expense of going online without opting for one of those free accounts that keep banner ads in front of you all the time. Again the site is moneyformail.com.
