Get Answers to Tech Questions at FixYa

Printer won't print? Lost the manual for your cell phone? Head to FixYa, a site that offers free tech support and troubleshooting.

Getting started is a snap: Just type the name of the troublesome product or a brief description of your problem, then click Search. You can also browse lists of product manufacturers and recently posted problems. If that doesn't reveal a solution, click the Ask button to post your question; one of FixYa's "experts" (i.e. fellow users) should come to the rescue with a solution in fairly short order. The site also lets you search for repairmen (repairpersons?) in your area.

Unlike other "answers" sites -- Askville, Yahoo Answers, etc. -- FixYa caters expressly to tech products and solutions. That makes it a must-bookmark in my book. Your chances for getting decent help are arguably much better than if you go through a manufacturer's support site. [via CyberNet]
