(CBS) After being feted in Venice and Toronto, George Clooney's latest movie, "The Ides of March," got a premiere in Hollywood on Tuesday night.

Clooney's girlfriend, actress, model and former professional wrestler Stacy Keibler, joined the actor-director on the red carpet along with many of the movie's stars.

But if photographers were hoping to snap the two together, they were out of luck. Keibler was on her own, while Clooney joked and mugged for the camera with co-star Ryan Gosling.

Gosling is getting to be an old hand at promoting movies. He is the star of two others still in theaters, playing a mentoring Romeo in "Crazy, Stupid Love" and a professional stuntman who moonlights as a wheelman in "Driver." In Clooney's thriller, he plays a political operative.

Among those at the premiere were cast members Marisa Tomei, Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright and Max Minghella. The movie also stars Paul Giamatti and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

The movie, which is getting some serious Oscar buzz, is set to open Oct. 7.
