Gates, Crowley Reconvene Beer Summit – Without Obama

The two men, of course, joined President Obama and Vice President Biden for a "beer summit" at the White House in July after the president weighed in on Crowley's decision to arrest Gates in his home.
The White House event was billed by the administration as the culmination of a "teachable moment" for the country in its continuing examination of race relations.
The owner of the Cambridge bar, "River Gods," told WBZ that Gates and Crowley sat in a booth and talked for about an hour last night. The president and vice president were, of course, nowhere to be seen.
After the beer summit, Crowley said he and Gates had "agreed to disagree." He told reporters that he and Gates had agreed to meet again but did not disclose details.
No word on what beers, if any, the two men drank this time around.
