Gadget Lust: Get a Palm Pre for Free?

We're big fans of the forthcoming Palm Pre around here, and it looks like the newest smartphone/iPhone competitor is going to drop on us around the middle of June, if baseless Internet rumors are to be believed.

The latest big Pre news? You might be able to snag a free Pre for yourself, along with a six month data plan from Sprint.

According to the Palm blog, Palm is looking for some "real reviewers" who are eager to share their Pre experiences with the world through blogs, Facebook, Twitter, and other online outlets. To quote the post:

If you're interested, run, don't walk, to the Palm Web site, since reviewers will be selected on May 8.
