Gadget Lust: Dell M109S Pocket Projector Available Now

For those of you who can't wait another week to get your hands on 3M's MPro110 pocket projector, here's good news: The Dell M109S pocket projector is available right now. And the folks at Popular Mechanics have posted what appears to be the first hands-on review.

The M109S measures 3.6 by 4.1 by 1.5 inches and weighs a scant 0.8 pounds. It has a native resolution of 858 by 600 (weird, I know) and comes with two inputs: VGA and composite. Dell promises up to 10,000 hours of use from its LED light source.

The projector will run you $499, quite a bit higher than the expected $359 for 3M's slightly smaller unit. We'll be on the lookout for comparison reviews and post them as we find them. In the meantime, watch Popular Mechanics' video review of the M109S. It looks mighty promising.
