Gadget Laugh: Flash Drive Lock

I can't decide if this is the dumbest thing ever or a genuinely practical tool. The Flash Drive Lock is a combination lock for your flash drive. It fits over the USB connector and secures it using a three-digit rotary lock. Take a look:

Given the inherently unsafe nature of USB drives -- they're easily lost and stolen -- I suppose something like this might be useful. It could deter potential thieves, at least those who consider what is essentially a luggage-class lock a deterrent.
