Funeral set for Krista Dittmeyer, mother found dead in N.H. pond
(CBS/WBZ/AP) BRIDGTON, Maine - The funeral for Maine mother, Krista Dittmeyer, who was found in a pond in New Hampshire, will be held Monday evening at the high school where she graduated in 2008.
The funeral will be held at 5 p.m. at Lake Region High School in Naples, Maine. Mourners attended a wake Sunday in her hometown of Bridgton, reports CBS station WBZ.
A fund has been set up to support her 14-month-old daughter, according to the station.
The 20-year-old Portland, Maine mother's body was found Wednesday by divers in a retaining pond about a quarter-mile from where her car had been found idling in a parking lot.
Senior Assistant Attorney General Jane Young said Dittmeyer's death is being treated as suspicious.
The medical examiner's office conducted an autopsy Thursday, but Young said the results would not be released pending further investigation and toxicology results. Young said those results may not be available for six to eight weeks.
