"Friday Night Lights" cast members strike a reunion pose

It's just one photo, and there's no Coach (Kyle Chandler) or Tami Taylor (Connie Britton) in sight, but it's still enough to make any "Friday Night Lights" fan want to say it: "Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose."

Five of the show's cast members got together for a casual-looking reunion, and shared photographic proof on Instagram.

Pictured below, from left, are: Matt Lauria (Luke Cafferty), Gaius Charles (Brian "Smash" Williams), Zach Gilford (Matt Saracen), Scott Porter (Jason Street) and Kevin Rankin (Herc):

"#FNL #FridayNightLights reunion at #SundayFunday," Porter captioned the photo.

While it's nice to see part of the "FNL" gang back together (would it be too much to hope they tossed a football around?), it might be all we get in terms of a reunion for the time being -- the much-hoped-for "Friday Night Lights" movie doesn't appear to be heading to the big screen anytime soon.
