Free Tax Help -- Just In the Nick of Time

You are aware that this is the last day of March, and taxes are due in 15 days, right? Of course you are. Then again, if you're so on-the-ball, why haven't you filed yet?

Just in case you've put off everything until pretty much the last minute, I've got a roundup of some free and potentially useful tax sites and services.

IRS list of free filing services
IRS list of free online forms (complete with auto-calculations)

Remember that these free services are for pretty simple tax situations, so it might be more appropriate for you to pass these links on to your teenage kid who has to file for a summer job than for your own Schedule C.
