'Frat Boy' Blake Gets Canned

Guacamole in Guatemala?
Yes, indeed. The fifth week of "Survivor: Guatemala" fused an eclectic mix of dramatic elements: prayer and dance, strategy and betrayal -- and chips and dip.
But when the dipping was done, Blake Towsley, a 24-year-old real estate broker from Dallas, was the latest tribe member to get a one-way ticket out of the Mayan ruins.
Personalities continued to clash in both tribes. In Nakum, Judd and Margaret traded glares early. Margaret was upset by Judd's heartless rants about how people need to understand the cutthroat nature of the game.
Judd, meanwhile, just didn't like Margaret's attitude.
"I can't wait until she's gone," he said.
At Yaxha's campsite, the mood wasn't much better. As a beetle harassed Amy, Brandon offered his own assault on Amy's city sensibilities. "I'm used to rednecks and hicks," said the Kansas native, scoffing at her lack of wheat harvesting knowledge.
Brian, a proud blue-stater, gave a more sweeping assessment of his tribe mates as he endured yet another pre-meal prayer: "Most of people here, I wouldn't be friends with outside the game."
But Yaxha's collective mood would soon improve during the first challenge. After Brandon displayed his Kansas prowess cutting rope and chopping logs, his tribe easily defeated Nakum in a Mayan cart race.
His motivation? A floating crocodile-proof swim cage with decking, lounge chairs and umbrella. And, to enjoy on the new lounge deck? Chips, guacamole and margaritas!
"We've got a new superhero on our team," Gary said of Brandon. "I know Kansas is loving him and so am I."
Chez Nakum, Lydia danced a little-known jig called "The Pancake" to try and cheer up her comrades. But perennial loser Stephenie broke down in tears.
"I feel like I'm in a really bad dream and I can't get out," she sniffled.
Back at Yaxha's camp, things were festive. Chips were dipped in guacamole. Bodies were dipped in the croc-less water.
But Blake (nicknamed "Golden Boy" by Amy) slowly emerged as a party pooper. His self-indulgent stories started to annoy his tribe mates.
"Blake talks about himself all the time," said Brandon.
"Blake is such an idiot," Brian added.
The relentless stories of Blake's drunken escapades and well-endowed girlfriend seemed to distract the whole tribe. Yaxha was soundly defeated in the immunity catapult-a-ball-into-a-net challenge.
Brian, Gary and Amy seem to be logical targets to be banished. They were outnumbered by the Nakum posse of four who had been traded only a week earlier.
But Gary again used his gray hair and height to influence his tribe. And Blake's earlier antics had him on the chopping block.
"People are getting fed up with Blake's frat boy stuff," said Danni, who emerged as the pivotal swing vote.
Sure enough, Blake received four of the first six votes. Brian, who received two, breathed a huge sigh of relief.
"This game just took a big shift," said host Jeff Probst.
Tune in to Friday's The Early Show as Blake will talk about what caused his demise. Plus America's best-loved "Survivor," Rupert Boneham, will share his commentary on this season's "Survivor: Guatemala."
If that is not enough, there will also be a secret scene — that is a scene that did not air on the show, given exclusively to The Early Show.
