Fox Wins Silver Sewer Award

A well-known Democratic senator and a Republican former cabinet secretary Tuesday handed out their annual Silver Sewer media award.

CBS News Correspondent Peter Maer reports it's not exactly a coveted honor.

Senator Joseph Lieberman and former Education Secretary William Bennett give their Silver Sewer Award to what they view as a leading cultural polluter.

Bennett said this year's recipient is Fox Television, which he accuses of dragging down TV standards with programs like Action and Get Real.

A Fox spokesman says viewers are able to decide which programs are appropriate.
