Former Yahoo! CEO Carol Bartz's farewell email to employees, sent from her iPad
(CBS) - Following former Yahoo! chief executive officer Carol Bartz's brutal firing over the phone by chairman Roy Bostock, she sent an email out to the company announcing her departure. She will be succeeded by chief financial officer Time Morse.

To all,
I am very sad to tell you that I've just been fired over the phone by Yahoo's Chairman of the Board. It has been my pleasure to work with all of you and I wish you only the best going forward.
