FolderMirror Syncs Your Phone with Outlook Folders

foldermirror.jpgPublic folders, a feature of Microsoft Exchange Server, allow organizations to share contacts, group calendars, and other data. Chapura's FolderMirror allows smartphones (all models, including Palm, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, even the iPhone) to wirelessly sync with those folders, an option that's not available via traditional wireless-sync solutions.

The software works a little bit of magic to make this happen, replicating specified items in the main Outlook folders and allowing your existing synchronization system (wireless or wired) to transfer them to your mobile device. It all happens transparently and behind the scenes.

FolderMirror costs $49.95 and requires Windows 2000 or higher and Outlook 2000 or higher. Sounds like a great solution for mobile workers who want mobile access to public folders.
